“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs. Matthew 5:3

To be poor in spirit means you recognize that you do not have what it takes to receive God’s gift of salvation which grants you access to the kingdom of God.

jesus paid the full price with his own life. All you now need to do is believe and receive God’s gift by faith.
