My name is Genesis, and I am currently a Pastoral Resident at Lake Church in Arlington, TX. Marceline and I have been married for 17 years and blessed with five amazing children born in three different countries: Naomi, Toni, Brian, Davis, & Philip. After nearly 15 years of ministry in Cameroon, I spent 4 years at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) before joining Lake Church staff in January of 2020.

My passion in life is to exalt Jesus Christ and glorify God by sharing the gospel with non-believers and helping believers to grow to maturity so that they in turn can be engaged in making disciples. I believe that the need for mature Christians is one of the Church’s greatest needs. This can be achieved through planting Churches and equipping the saints to use their gifts and talents to serve God.
